Today it was announced that Chris Mills has signed CX Racing as his title sponsor for his Formula D 2014 rookie season. He will be piloting Otto Graven’s old 350z which is being rebuilt for him by Matt Field at his new shop Drift Cave next to Charles Ng’s G37 and Matt’s s14.
The guys over at My Life at Speed sat down with Matt Field recently to talk with him about his growth in the 2013 season, his new shop Drift Cave, and what he has planned for the 2014 season. In the back of the video you will also see his 2013 chassis being deconstructed to be prepped for 2014 along his engine that’s waiting for a rebuild, Charles Ng’s G, Chris Mills 350z, and an unknown owners s15.
A few months ago Charles Ng announced that he intended to return to Formula D for the 2014 season and soon after announced that he’d be in a G37 chassis that he had bought for the upcoming season right before he got his offer to race in the FIA World Touring Car Championship. The car is being built over at Matt Field’s new shop, Drift Cave, and he has been putting up some progress photos over the last two days, check em out.
